CITILINK INDONESIA NOW FLIES DAILY

THE GARUDA INDONESIA LOW-COST SUBSIDIARY CITILINK INDONESIA has expanded its international route network by launching its inaugural service connecting Bali and MELBOURNE’S AVALON AIRPORT on Friday, January 24, 2020.

As reported by the INDONESIAN NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY ANTARA, the new CITILINK INDONESIA route is being operated with a new AIRBUS A320 NEO AIRCRAFT.
Citilink reports that their first flight to Melbourne left Bali with a load factor of 95%.

Upon arrival at MELBOURNE’S AVALON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, the flight was welcomed by the Indonesian Consul-General in Melbourne, Spica Tutuhatunewa; Senator Victoria Sarah Henderson; Executive Chairman of the AVALON AIRPORT David Fox; CEO of the Airport Justin Giddings; Member of Parliament Victoria John Eren; and the general manager of GARUDA INDONESIA in Melbourne Flora Izza.

CITILINK is targeting an average load factor of 70% on its new Denpasar to Melbourne flights. The choice of AVALON AIRPORT will prove an advantage to travelers staying in nearby Geelong and regional areas of Victoria seeking to travel to Bali. THE CITILINK SERVICE will operate on a daily basis using the flight number QG 560 departs Bali at 11:45 pm arriving the following morning in Melbourne at 8:50 local time. The return leg on QG 561 leaves Melbourne at 12:50 pm landing in Bali at 4:20 pm local time.
